A New era!

Hi   My blog is called newgastricband , but I prefer it now to be known for my crafting friends and any crafting I am able to make.
What a silly name for a blog!
But I did have a gastric band fitted last February for my own health reasons and is now begining to work and am now ok.
So that's in the past and this is now!
I spend far too much time looking after everyones fabulous crafting sites, well blogs,  that I don't have anytime for crafting!
But I hope to.
Please be patient with me?

    Hi Michelle, I have never ever added to my profile sorry.
    Its been tough going and I have only just lost a stone in weight seven months on!!
    But its getting the band just right.
    I'm not sure if I would ever do it again!
    I am doing more walking and bought a bike so ridng that around,feeling better in myself, but its very tough!

    I'm Stephanie and I came across your comment on one of Jin's post about being lonely. Life can get really draggy and lonesome sometimes, but I am blessed and happy to have an online community like these blog sites where I can bond and meet new people like you!

    It really breaks my heart to read your comment about being older and not being able to see your future anymore. That is no way to live right?! So let us be friends! :) and maybe your future can be a little more brighter! :)

    BTW, you are a little harsh on your own crafting skills! I think all crafters are all alike and have different levels of creative outlets, none is better or worst, all is unique and handmade with love. What's important is that it is YOUR creation, no reason to diss your own work- after all, you did put at least some sort of time in it then going about the boring way, right? :)

    I know what you mean in your "New Era" post, I LOVE looking at other peoples blogs, and also in awe at the creativity in blogland.

    Hope you have lost some more weight since your post :) Keep at it especially the bike! It's so hard I know!!!!!!!!
